Seven Sisters

The Seven sisters can be seen in the eastern part of the early morning sky and it shines brightly in Barrgana. At the end of Barrgana the Seven sisters moves to the western part of the sky.
Salmon

The kite has the same tail shape as the bluenose salmon. When we see it along the coast, people know the bluenose salmon is fat.
Dugong

The dugong are fat. The men made rafts to go out to sea to spear them.
Pindan Wattle
Yingarramaguranda barrawarra biyalbiyalbarri balu yingarragurlanda mirrilyibarri windigurdany yirr yirragulugurdany lurlgu.
They made the rafts by tying trunks of the light mangrove wood together with rope made from the beach morning glory or the bark of the pindan wattle.
Witchetty

We search for witchetty grubs in the soapy tree branch.
Echidna
Jiribuga lidabarri yingarrjin. Ngarrungunil yingarrmurungundajina ngurragun jimbin jigurr yirr birdi warnangarrigun.
The echidna are fat. People searched for them at night in hollow logs and rock holes.
Bauhinia Tree
Balu jigily yinganngany manyja jirrbiliny. Jirrbiliny yibardigan niyarrabarri girrbaju yirr biyarrimbin yingarrburlan.
The Bauhinia tree is in flower. This flower is full of sweet nectar and the honey flies (bees) come.
